Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible for maintaining business continuity frameworks to ensure operational resilience and service stability during disruptions. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the enterprise business continuity strategy, ensuring preparedness against internal and external disruptions that may affect operational stability.
- Maintain and update the organization’s continuity policies, frameworks, and procedures in alignment with approved corporate standards.
- Define and calibrate organizational tolerance levels for operational disruptions in line with executive direction and strategic priorities.
- Implement enterprise-wide control standards that promote operational resilience and proactive issue prevention across business functions.
- Apply structured assessment methodologies to enable early identification, escalation, and resolution of potential operational, financial, or strategic disruptions.
- Develop and maintain business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency response plans in coordination with internal sectors and stc Group.
- Ensure continuity and resilience plans are actionable, compliant, and periodically tested to validate readiness under various disruption scenarios.
Design and enforce internal control mechanisms that safeguard operational integrity and regulatory compliance.
Track and analyze key continuity and performance indicators, escalating critical exposures to leadership when necessary.
- Conduct periodic reviews of continuity registers and response plans to ensure they reflect evolving business environments and operational changes.
- Drive organization-wide awareness initiatives on continuity preparedness in collaboration with the Human Capital sector.
- Deliver structured training sessions to equip employees with the knowledge and tools required to respond effectively to operational disruptions.
- Promote a culture of resilience, ownership, and accountability across all business functions.
- Collaborate with Strategy & Governance and Technology teams to embed continuity and resilience planning within strategic initiatives and platforms.
- Provide leadership with forward-looking continuity insights and scenario analyses to support informed operational decision-making.
- Monitor adherence to continuity protocols and continuously enhance recovery and preparedness practices
