Custom Solutions Delivery Management Director

Job Purpose

Jobs at this level are responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of custom IT and digital projects. The role holder shall develop project plans, facilitate collaboration, manage project budgets, and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. They will also manage customer expectations, mitigate risks, and conduct post-project reviews. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility

• Oversee the end-to-end process of custom IT and digital project delivery from initiation to closure
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery
• Introduce measures as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints
• Coordinate with clients to ensure project alignment
• Ensure effective communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage customer expectations and maintain strong client relationships
• Manage project budgets and control costs to ensure financial objectives are met
• Identify and mitigate project risks to avoid delays and disruptions
• Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and informed decision-making
• Provide training and support to team members to maintain high standards of service delivery
• Manage client complaints related to maintenance, warranty, and compliance issues with the relevant stakeholders

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a related discipline

Nature of Experience

Prior experience in custom project delivery in a telecommunications or technology industry.
