Job Purpose

The Role holder is responsible for Maintaining exhaustive and well-structured repository of data sources and collection processes required for the regular cost allocation. In addition to maintains a current snapshot of all required information (financial, commercial and operational) required for the cost allocation. And to support the validation process of the final outcomes from the cost allocation process, comparing them against the source data and expectations. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedure

Job Responsibility

  • Maintains exhaustive and well-structured repository of data sources and collection processes required for the regular cost allocation
  • Conduct internal data sourcing of the information in a timely manner, to ensure achieving highest possible levels of accuracy of the data.
  • Maintains a current snapshot of all required information (financial, commercial and operational) required for the cost allocation
  • Support the process of coordinating with IT support team to develop data collection channels (system to system, expert inputs) ensuring timeliness and accuracy
  • Coordinate with internal clients across STC to clarify data requests (RFIs) and methodologies to calculate and prepare the final inputs.

Job Responsibility (cont.)

  • Support conducting regular collection cycles to ensure  the data is updated at intervals corresponding to its nature (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, yearly)
  • Ensure preparing the data in a form by conducting data clean-up, data validation, and data aggregation and reshaping to ensure its fit to the requirements of the allocation process and IT systems,
  • Coordinate with IT support team to optimize and streamline continuously the data processing and preparation work flow
  • Identifies changes in the data structure and content compared to previous periods and against the existing data model
  • Coordinate with the costing design teams to develop and introduce the required changes in the allocation models and/or mapping of different products, organizational units, account codes, network elements, cost categories, etc.
  • Support the validation process of the final outcomes from the cost allocation process, comparing them against the source data and expectations

Nature of Experience

Prior experience in Data Acquisition and specifically in the telecommunication function is strongly preferred
