Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible for structuring, arranging, negotiating and executing fresh capital/funding requirements for stc and also for its group companies periodically. The role holder is also responsible for reviewing cash flow analysis and identifying funding gaps for stc to meet their funding requirements and managing exiting & future funded and non-funded facilities. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedure.
Job Responsibility
- Understands capital structuring, strategy and requirements for STC and its group companies.
- Coordinates with board secretary to obtain all relevant board approvals and ensures transactions are properly entered/updated on TMS/Oracle system
- Develop & maintain relations with stakeholders i.e. banks, Sharia'h , legal, external advisors & regulators to develop synergies in accomplishing STC s financial goals.
- Reviews of all funding transactions related documentation from legal and Sharia h prospective
- Manages the structuring, arrangement, negotiation and execution of vendor backed ECA facilities once approved by board.
- Responsible for structuring, arranging, negotiating and executing fresh capital/funding requirements for STC and also for its group companies periodically
- Engages with various department to propose and structure optimal solution/financing i.e. vendor financing, account receivable securitization etc.
- Ensure to diversify the sources of financing including bank loans, syndications, Export credit agency (ECA), account receivable securitization etc and/or structured financing to meet the capital needs of the group
Job Responsibility (cont.)
- Performs analysis with regards to vendor backed ECA facilities mainly taking into account local and international market dynamics, size, pricing, timing, terms etc. and presents it top management for approval.
- Manage exiting & future funded and non-funded facilities i.e. renewal and rollovers etc. in order to meet business needs
- Review cash flow analysis and identify funding gaps for STC to meet their funding requirements
- Assists capital structuring section in performing cash flow analysis and identifying funding gaps for STC and its Group in order to meet their Capital/funds requirements
- Engages with new markets, Clusters, M&A and Corporate development teams for any group companies debt restructuring, to meet funding requirements for new acquisition through external funding
- Conducts the activities related to development and maintenance of Green Finance/ESG framework and the Green Finance/ESG relevant research and analysis
- Engages with sustainability team, technology sector and external providers, development of Green Finance/ESG risk assessment tools, monitoring and reporting framework.
Years of Experience
A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Nature of Experience
- Prior experience in Finance and specifically in the Funding Management function is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in telecommunications industry or a similar commercial service oriented industry within the KSA region and/or the Middle East region of a large scale is preferred.
