Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for meeting and coordinating with Risk Management team (ERM) and all financial risk owners to identify financial risk mitigation plans and monitoring the achievements in timely basis. The role holder also is responsible for developing, reviewing and updating FRM guidelines and policies to adopt, implement, and practice an effective FRM under the umbrella of ERM across stc group. In addition, preparing several analysis on Group & subsidiaries level, such as Liquidity Risks, Credit Risk, Refinancing Risk, Market Risk, Value at Risk & stock performance, and counterparty Risk analysis. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility

  • Engage, coordinate and work closely with Risk Management team (ERM) to identify operational risks related to Corporate Finance (being Risk Champion of the sector), help operational risk owners to build the mitigation plans and monitoring of Reports.
  • Meet, support & coordinate with all financial risk owners to identify financial risk mitigation plans and monitoring the achievements in timely basis.
  • Periodically update financial risk analysis process from identification, classification, measurement, and impact of financial risks.
  • Develop, review and update FRM guidelines and policies to adopt, implement and practice an effective FRM under the umbrella of ERM across stc group
  • Prepare Liquidity Risks analysis on Group & subsidiaries to understand the risk exposure and flag any critical risk item on quarterly basis
  • Prepare Credit Risk analysis based on the account receivables on Group & subsidiaries to analyze the customers segments and f lag any critical risk exposure.
  • Prepare Refinancing Risk analysis to measure the Group & subsidiaries capacity to meet it debt obligations and maintain our credit rating.

  • agreements with the Group and flag any critical risk item.
  • Prepare Market Risk analysis based on the factors that affect the overall performance of the financial markets on Group & subsidiaries and flag any critical risk exposure.
  • Prepare and presents Value at Risk & stock performance analysis to evaluate the currencies of the international investment and that flag any critical risk item on quarterly basis

Job Responsibility (cont.)

  • Develop, monitor and review the Risk Appetite for financial risks in coordination with ERM team to align approach, methodology and thresholds with Enterprise Risk Management
  • Review and analyze financial covenants in coordination with funding department to determine, assess and compare the level of risk for each covenant as per FRM guidelines and its thresholds.
  • Review the cash flow forecast and prepare Assets Labilities Management (ALM) report to ensure a sufficient cash position to meet stc obligations and the risk appetite approved level.
  • Engage and review disclosure documents/requirements in financial market transactions particularly risk exposure (e.g. prospec tus , etc.)
    • to ensure alignment with FRM guidelines.
  • Consolidate all risk analysis, Prepare & Presents in quarterly basis the Financial Risk Management report and risk metric lev els to the
  • BOD committees (e.g. Risk Committee and Audit Committee)
  • Liaise with internal controls and ERM guidelines for the overall compliance and control requirements
  • Prepare the cash flow forecast and prepare Assets Labilities Management (ALM) report to ensure a sufficient cash position to meet stc obligations and the risk appetite approved level.
  • Prepare the pro forma financials on pre & post acquisitions/spin off to support Equity market and financial Evaluation and Capital
  • analysis, Debt to EBITDA, and other critical KPIs
  • Prepare Market Risk analysis based on the factors that affect the overall performance of the financial markets on Group & sub

Years of Experience

6 and above

Nature of Experience

  • Prior experience in FRM in large-scale service oriented industry is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience within the KSA region and/or the Middle East region including knowledge of regulatory environment and context is preferred
