Financial Management Assistant Manager

Job Purpose

Jobs at this level are responsible for supervising account-ing activities including the preparation of financial state-ments, zakat & tax and complex accounting reports in a timely and accurate manner. Also, they are responsible for ensuring compliance of accounting activities within the respective work unit with applicable standards and regu-lations.

Job Responsibility

• Supervise all routine and non-routine reports to ensure compliance with statutory and audit requirements.
• Contribute in preparing and documenting monthly, quar-terly and yearly reports of different stakeholders (subsid-iaries, SVPs, STC) including financial statement disclo-sures on local GAAP.
• Contribute in producing group consolidated financial statements in accordance with Accounting and CMA standards and regulations.
• Reconcile various accounts and Account balances with the General Ledger and reviewing the compliance of de-preciation charge of assets with the policy & procedures.
• Coordinate across a number of work units within the specified area of work, to ensure efficient work flows and accurate outputs. 
• Manage projects and initiatives, as may be required by the reporting senior.
• Ensure efficient accounting & financial control initiatives and ensures the communication and implementation of the same.
• Ensure remedial actions and measures for course cor-rection on unresolved escalations.
• Liaise with other supervisors to build effective working relationships and identifies synergies.
• Develop and supervises the respective team members, if needed, for undertaking higher responsibilities.
