Job Purpose

 

The role holder is responsible for developing and enforcing Specialized’s governance frameworks, authorities, and documentation standards to ensure accountability, transparency, and alignment with corporate and regulatory requirements. He ensures the implementation of governance initiatives, such as policy structures, board documentation, and training programs, in coordination with internal stakeholders and executive leadership. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

 -Implements a centralized governance structure that ensures consistency, accountability, and integration of risk, compliance, and ethical practices across all business units.

-Develops and refines governance frameworks and methodologies to align with Specialized’s objectives and stc Group regulatory requirements.

-Translates Board directives and organizational structure into defined authorities and policies that promote effective oversight and control.

-Designs and maintains documentation governance standards, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and compliance across all functions.

-Prepares and updates the GRC implementation plan, incorporating organizational goals, regulatory expectations, and operational priorities.

-Reviews and adjusts the GRC plan periodically to address emerging risks, policy changes, and external benchmarks.

-Delivers training sessions to Specialized managers on governance principles and institutional practices in coordination with Business Excellence.

-Monitors adherence to governance frameworks and facilitates updates to ensure continuous alignment with company mandates.

-Maintains and updates Delegation of Authority (DOA) and Designated Rights Framework (DRF) records, ensuring consistency with group policies.

-Supports internal audits and assessments by providing documentation, process maps, and governance-related evidence as required.

-Engages business stakeholders to ensure proper application of governance models across operational and functional processes.

-Tracks governance performance metrics and reports gaps or risks to the GRC General Manager for escalation and resolution.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree in Business Administration in Law or related filed

Years of Experience:

  • Preferred experience of (7 Years and above), or equivalent in the area of expertise
