Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for ensuring the resilience, efficiency, and compliance of stc’s physical and digital infrastructure across network, cybersecurity, and IT domains. This includes incident resolution, strategic spare parts management, proactive maintenance, contingency planning, and MSP governance. The role holder collaborates with internal teams (e.g., GTU, AI CoE, SEA Sector) and external partners to maintain operational integrity, support special events (e.g., Ramadan, Hajj), and drive process automation. Duties are executed in alignment with stc’s policies, leveraging tools like stc Brain and ai core for automation, analytics, and governance.

Job Responsibility

Incident Resolution: Support resolution of physical/digital incidents across network, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure, managing equipment repair/replacement as needed.

• Spare Parts Management: Strategically distribute spare parts based on site criticality, equipment lifecycle, and infrastructure complexity, maintaining minimum inventory at strategic locations.

• Reporting: Generate monthly reports on incidents, outages, and performance across IT domains via ai core.

• Proactive Strategies: Develop and implement proactive management strategies with detailed procedures, leveraging stc Brain for predictive insights.

• Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance for network devices, security systems, and IT infrastructure (physical/software), reorganizing and labeling for efficiency.

• Contingency Planning: Participate in developing/testing contingency plans and deploy them during disasters/major outages.

• Inventory Management: Provision spare parts (including legacy/non-standard items), manage on-premise customer equipment installation, and maintain inventory levels for rapid response.

• Resource Takeover: Ensure efficient takeover and integration of new network elements, providing expertise during resource takeover activities.

• Legacy Equipment Support: Provide technical support and spare parts for obsolete/legacy network and IT equipment.

• Inventory Reporting: Manage regular reporting on inventory status and availability via ai core.

• Operational Support: Ensure integrity of power, networking, and computing equipment, supporting updates, upgrades, and changes.

• Compliance: Manage maintenance and compliance activities to adhere to industry standards.

• Critical Systems Management: Oversee installation, removal, and maintenance of critical operational devices/systems.

• Site Surveys: Conduct surveys to optimize IT infrastructure deployment.

• Logistics Management: Handle logistics for IT equipment movement and delivery.

• Budget Alignment: Manage spare parts inventory efficiently, aligning with operational needs and budget constraints.

• Special Events Support: Ensure infrastructure readiness for events like Ramadan, Hajj, Eid, and Riyadh Season.

• Process Automation: Support automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

• MSP Governance: Act as operating governance authority for MSP contracts related to Field Operation Center, ensuring SLA compliance via Sirar by stc.
