Job Purpose

Jobs at this level are responsible for driving relationships and supporting negotiations with suppliers to increase benefits for STC such as timely delivery, lower prices for goods/services. They are also responsible for reviewing analysis of current purchasing and commercial processes and identifying improvements to existing methods

Job Responsibility

Contract & Negotiation:

Support in negotiations with suppliers on the prices of goods and services using standard contracts and set variables adhering to procurement and commercial policies. 
Participate in preparation of bid packages for Customer proposals.
Prepare and negotiate commercial contracts including software and hardware licenses, services agreements, statements of work and amendments.
Handle the process of analysing/selecting suppliers, issuing purchase orders, invoices and follows - up as necessary to meet agreed service levels.
Evaluate technical inputs in the creation of complex or unusual contracts as required.
Build and develops relationships internally with the Finance Sector and Legal Affairs General Directorate to resolve commercial and contracting problems and queries in a quick and effective manner.
Generic Role:

Manage the day-to-day team operations within a specified scope, by undertaking related work processes and ensuring accuracy. 
Drive relationships with suppliers to increase benefits for STC such as timely delivery and lower prices for goods and services.
Support in setting basic standards of quality of goods/service to be adhered by the goods/service providers.
Plan, organizes and prioritizes work tasks to ensure that resources are used effectively and work is completed within set deadlines.
Support team members and resolves routine queries to ensure work continuity.
Liaise with other supervisors to build effective working relationships and identifies synergies.
