Job Purpose

Supports in Overseeing Channel Operations & Technical Broadcasting and supports in managing the full lifecycle of homegrown channels, including the technical creation of broadcast schedules, automating presentation playlists, and synchronizing broadcast windows across multiple formats (stc tv sports, cinema, drama, family, anime, and kids) and overseeing Third-Party Content Integration. Also supports in leading monthly content planning sessions with external partners and ensuring alignment of third-party content drivers with internal operational timelines, also supports in generating technical broadcast calendars for seamless content delivery and managing the catch-up windows for premium titles, ensuring timely receipt of content assets to meet broadcast deadlines. And Overseeing the content management of live broadcasts on stc tv, including real-time sporting events, real-time scheduling adjustments, and coordinating with technical teams to address live issues as they arise.

Job Responsibility

• Design and implement Content Operation directorate’s strategy and roadmap in alignment with Content division’s strategy 
• Establish Content acquisition and Content Operation directorate’s plans and provide input to Content division’s goals that support its overall strategic plans 
• Collaborate with other Directors to identify Content Operation directorate’s required initiatives to meet future business demands
• Manage and drive the achievement of Content Operation directorate’s strategy, objectives and KPIs within the accountabilities of the directorate
• Prepare and present regular reports on the directorate’s progress and outputs to be shared with relevant stakeholders in line with reporting requirements
• Lead the integration and adoption of new technologies and tools to streamline content operations and improve efficiency across all stages of the content lifecycle.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements, recommending and implementing solutions that enhance content delivery, user experience, and operational capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure content operations are supported by robust, scalable systems that meet evolving business and industry demands.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives within the Content Operations directorate to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve performance metrics.
• Ensure that all operational systems are regularly reviewed, updated, and maintained to support the seamless delivery of content across multiple platforms.
• Manage Content Operation directorate’s budgeting cycle and provide input to the budgeting process
• Manage Content Operation effectively within budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
• Formulate initiatives that result in positive financial impact for Content Operation directorate and mitigate financial and operational risks
