Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for evaluating mobile fundamental plans and access network requirements, addressing performance issues, and developing deployment plans aligned with business needs and strategic technology roadmaps. The role holder also managing network performance, employ innovations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading digitization efforts to enhance operational efficiency. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedure

Job Responsibility

  • Evaluate mobile fundamental plans and access network requirements, including yearly updates in coordination with Business and Infrastructure Excellence
  • Review network traffic, performance, and customer traffic profile evolution, pinpointing network hotspots and areas of weak performance Put together plan to resolve performance issues
  • Evaluate network needs for voice and data, incorporating BUs updates, and network performance Review the actual traffic growth compared to business predictions and provide inputs to the business unit to adjust any variations on yearly basis
  • Develop Mobility Services deployment plans prioritized by BUs requirements, and approved CAPEX
  • Manage Integration of strategic technology roadmaps and network architecture evolution into deployment plans Research technology evolution and employ innovations in the plan to leverage the new technologies that will enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency and help in cost optimization
  • Evaluate network performance using O&M reports, BUs feedback, customer complaints and make necessary adjustments in the plan on yearly basis
  • Communicate TSA sector on yearly roadmap for asset management implementation

 

Job Responsibility (cont.)

  • Managing developing inventory management deployment / implementation plan
  • Conduct stc mobile network planning, dimensioning, and quantify indoor solutions
  • Prepare annual IBS requirements, and develop the final annual deployment plan according to priorities and approved CAPEX
  • Specify technical Regulatory requirements for Network coverage and develop spectrum utilization and licensing plans as per CST regulations
  • Review frequency standards, provide internal frequency issue support, and coordinate with CST for regulation compliance
  • Evaluate and develop spectrum efficiency & utilization report Put together spectrum plan, including spectrum reframing recommendations
  • Negotiate with non-stc users for band evacuation, address interference issues with neighboring countries, and assist business units with frequency needs and assignments
  • Organize vendors workshop/ Mobility Services technology roadmap
  • Analyze lifecycle of mobile, WiFi and IBS hardware, software and licenses
  • Lead digitization and automation of Mobility Services GD Processes to champion operational excellence.

 

Years of Experience

A minimum of 8 years

Prior experience in Mobility Services Planning within the Telecommunication industry
