Post Implementation Reviews Section Manager

Job Purpose

Jobs at this level are responsible for overseeing and managing the post-implementation review activities within a designated business unit. The role holder shall ensure the effective evaluation of project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and support continuous improvement. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility

Managerial Responsibilities 
•    Participates in the development and implementation of the Business Financial Intelligence & Control plans, in line with the corporate objectives.   
•    Directs and manages the Post Implementation Reviews mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes to achieve high performance standards.
•    Interprets and implements change within the Post Implementation Reviews function, providing guidance and support necessary for continuous improvement.
•    Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards within the Post Implementation Reviews function.
Core Responsibilities
•    Design and customize business case templates based on the specific needs of the cluster for various engagement types (e.g., sales, products, BD, etc.)
•    Share the business case templates with the relevant internal stakeholders for them to develop the business case for their respective engagements
•    Support and provide guidance, as needed, to internal stakeholders to ensure they properly and accurately develop their business cases
•    Collect and conduct an initial review of business cases developed across the cluster to ensure that they are filled as per requirements
•    Propose corrective measures to business case owners in case of incomplete of inaccurate business cases
•    Liaise with business case owners to stress test assumptions and calculations used in business cases
•    Channel, in coordination with the BDM Director, the completed business cases to their respective approving authority within the Cluster (e.g., GM, VP, GCBO) or within the Group, as per the authority thresholds
•    Propose initiatives to improve and accelerate business case approval processes within the Cluster
•    Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of all business cases and ensure it is accessible to Post Implementation Reviews team
•    Assist in providing financial support and advice to management to resolve challenges related to strategic projects’ business cases
•    Implement robust audit trial and assurance mechanisms for Group finance on all approved business cases
•    Support key decision making for financial related commitments in business projects 
•    Coordinate initiatives to raise awareness and provide training on business case development, financial analysis, and decision-making best practices across the cluster

Nature of Experience

Prior experience in post-implementation review within a large organization, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
