Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for implementing and integrating satellite services infrastructure and transport networks to ensure reliable, secure, and timely service delivery. The role holder coordinates project execution, testing, acceptance, vendors, and operational handover to ensure successful deployment and service continuity. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedure

Job Responsibility

  • Execute end-to-end implementation of satellite services infrastructure, including GEO/MEO/LEO platforms, gateways, VSAT hubs, and associated ground segment equipment.
  • Lead the deployment and integration of satellite communication systems with the IP/MPLS transport network, optical backbone, and core network infrastructure.
  • Manage implementation vendors, contractors, and system integrators to ensure compliance with project scope, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Coordinate site readiness activities, including power, space, transmission, civil works, and infrastructure dependencies to enable timely project execution.
  • Ensure successful installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of satellite and special project infrastructure in accordance with approved design specifications.
  • Conduct end-to-end service validation, interoperability, and performance testing before service activation.
  • Oversee migration, cutover, and service transition activities while minimizing customer impact and ensuring service continuity.
  • Ensure implementation complies with security, regulatory, and operational standards throughout project execution.
  • Coordinate with SEA, security, and business stakeholders to resolve implementation dependencies and accelerate project delivery.
  • Monitor implementation KPIs, project milestones, resources, and vendor performance to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead acceptance testing (PAT), and final customer acceptance for satellite and special projects.
  • Ensure operational readiness by delivering complete documentation, knowledge transfer, training, and support handover to Operations and Maintenance teams.

 

Job Responsibility (cont.)

  • Drive implementation of resilience, redundancy, and high-availability features across GEO/MEO/LEO satellite infrastructure to ensure network reliability.
  • Ensure all implementation activities comply with approved Method of Procedures (MoPs), change management processes, and operational governance requirements.
  • Ensure effective project reporting and performance visibility through timely and accurate reporting of project status, progress, and key metrics to all stakeholders.
  • Develop and automate engineering workflows to support the planning, design, and delivery of integrated SoWs for satellite infrastructure and MPLS and DWDM transport networks, ensuring all physical and logical dependencies are effectively coordinated.
  • Deliver Integrated SoWs related to MPLS and DWDM projects to Infrastructure Implementation with required End-to-End ISP & OSP dependencies & maintaining physical diversity requirements for Transport services.
  • Resolve Blocking issues that impact PAT Acceptance for Transport SoW’s.
  • Design & implement Dashboard reports required to Track & Control Core & Transport Projects (such as: Project status & action, missed SLA, RN Revision, … etc.).
