Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible for supervising the implementation of comprehensive safety and security programs in the region of Central to eliminate or minimize potential threats and promote a safe and secure environment. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.
Job Responsibility
Central region Security and Safety Operations
Supervises all personnel and automated security operations in a Central region and ensuring that all business units in the Central region are provided optimum safety and security measures.
Operates the security control room and supervises external security resources on site in a Central region to ensure proper delivery of security services.
Manages issue of security ID cards for employees and contractors in the Central region.
Central region Security Team Management
Leads and directs STC - employed security teams in the Central region.
Supervises the implementation of coaching and training programs and manages the development plans for the security staff the Central region.
Motivates, appraises and develops security staff to build a strong team of experts to ensure that the Safety and Security Department is equipped to meet its objectives within the Central region.
Service Delivery Management
Conducts periodic safety inspections of delivered services in order to ensure adherence of safety and security to defined standards and reports the findings to HQ and takes corrective measures to ensure non - repetition if there are any issues.
Ensures execution of safety and security services is according to the quality defined in the terms and conditions of the SLAs in a district.
