Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for designing specialized’s cybersecurity and network security architecture, frameworks, and protocols to safeguard infrastructure, systems, and data from cyber threats. The role ensures proactive detection, prevention, and response measures are implemented in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design network security frameworks to protect infrastructure, technology assets, and data, in line with cybersecurity strategies and industry regulations.
  • Develop and maintain specialized’s network and cybersecurity architecture to safeguard digital environments and ensure resilience against cyber threats.
  • Establish device-level security guidelines for MCN and BCN, including access controls, encryption standards, and authentication protocols.
  • Support the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the MCN Security Operations Center (SOC) to enable proactive threat detection, incident response, and mitigation.
  • Coordinate vendor activities related to SOC deployment and cybersecurity system upgrades, ensuring compliance with specialized’s technical and security requirements.
  • Implement and monitor preventative security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus tools to protect the organization from external threats.
  • Support the integration of advanced threat detection tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS) to enable real-time security monitoring and response capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain vulnerability assessment plans across specialized’s systems, networks, and applications to detect and resolve potential weaknesses.
  • Improve and adapt penetration testing and vulnerability management methodologies in response to emerging cybersecurity challenges.
  • Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and communication protocols to minimize damage from security breaches and report MCN-related breaches to the MCC as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree.
