Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for supporting the accuracy and compliance of intercompany transactions within stc Group’s consolidated financial statements, ensuring alignment with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating with subsidiaries and auditors to manage reporting, audits, and the elimination of intercompany balances. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedure.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in ensuring compliance of subsidiaries' financial information and group consolidated financial statements with stc policies, accounting standards, and regulations, particularly concerning intercompany transactions.
  • Coordinate with all stc's subsidiaries to ensure proper mapping, posting, accuracy, and completeness of intercompany transactions in the stc HPY System.
  • Assist in managing the group’s quarterly and annual consolidated audit and reporting with the group auditor, coordinating with the statutory audit as required for intercompany transactions.
  • Support coordination with group auditors and the General Auditing Bureau to meet their requirements related to group intercompany transactions.

Job Responsibility (cont.)

  • Assist in managing the preparation and distribution of external and internal financial statements and reports, ensuring the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy for intercompany transactions.
  • Assist in controlling and producing group consolidated financial statements and Zakat consolidated financial statements by ensuring proper elimination of intercompany transactions.
  • Assist in harmonizing and managing the group’s monthly closing process for all matters related to intercompany transactions, ensuring proper mapping and elimination.
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls, specifically for intercompany transactions.

Nature of Experience

  • Prior experience in financial reporting and consolidation in a large-scale service oriented industry is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience within the KSA region and/or the Middle East region including knowledge of regulatory environment and context is preferred
