Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible for executing Specialized’s technology design and architecture activities across the MCN and BCN domains. This includes implementing governance frameworks, translating business needs into technical designs, ensuring alignment with stc Group’s strategy, and supporting the development of innovation capabilities under the guidance of the General Manager. The role ensures operational execution of architecture plans and standards to support business goals and future readiness. The role holder shall carry out their duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures..
Key Responsibilities:

- Implement Specialized’s MCN and BCN technology design recommendations by applying informed technical decisions aligned with business priorities and national communication requirements, in coordination with the CTO and in alignment with the directives of the GM. - Apply a structured governance framework for architectural design across Specialized to ensure standardization, regulatory compliance, and alignment with stc Group’s technology strategy, as directed by the GM. - Manage the development and updates of MCN and BCN end-to-end technology architectures, while aligning shared IT elements with the Corporate IT Services team and maintaining the standards expected by sensitive government entities. - Ensure that technology designs within Specialized remain harmonized with stc Group’s technology strategy to support proper integration, network scalability, and operational maintainability. - Contribute to the execution of Specialized’s 3-year technology strategy by analyzing market trends and translating them into planning inputs in collaboration with Strategy & Governance and under GM oversight. - Define and maintain network architecture standards within Specialized with emphasis on security, resilience, and scalability to meet current services and prepare for future demands. - Execute technology design and planning activities across all offerings—architecture, features, applications, and platforms—to ensure alignment with operational requirements and industry practices. - Establish a technology innovation setup within the CoE to operationalize R&D for next-generation networking, supporting Specialized’s competitive position, in alignment with the GM’s direction. - Translate network and service requirements into technical specifications, SLAs, and architectural features to support implementation and operational readiness. - Monitor the relevance and alignment of design outputs with Specialized’s evolving infrastructure needs and suggest timely refinements in accordance with GM guidance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Information Technology, Information System, Engineering
Years of Experience:
- Preferred experience of (7 Years and above, or equivalent in the area of expertise
